McCain gets scared

This new ad from John McCain's campaign suggests that the Republican candidate is clearly scared about these numbers. Elections make pathological liars of us all. I wonder if, in his head, John McCain truly sees himself as the underdog superhero trying to save the world from the scourge of terrorism lurking beneath Obama's calm exterior.

Does he? We will never know what John McCain thinks, since he's not very good at expressing it.
